I keep waiting for the day when somebody mistakes Fauci for the gargoyle he is and puts his head on their roof.

ReplyDeleteHe's been director of NIAID since 1984? The USA really really needs term limits for all these people, from The Senate thru Congress and all the top jobs - 4 years and hand over to someone else.
ReplyDeleteJobs for life just invites corruption and entrenched incompetence. Rotation is one common way of avoiding this.
And he is, according to recent reports, the highest paid federal government employee in the country. Plus, I have read that he made a mess of drug research, testing and approval during the initial AIDS crisis. He seems to be the apotheosis of the Peter Principle.
