Cruz made a mistake. Nobody is perfect. He can work anywhere. The optics were bad, obviously. I refuse to "throw the baby out with the bathwater".
In El Paso, Beto O'Rourke was giving out water and organized phone banks right after the Cruz debacle erupted. Good. But where are the rest of the Texas politicans from both sides?
Yeah, the optics weren't great, to be sure. So Beto waited until the point where he could get maximum advantage before he decided to help? No surprise, there.
