Some of the usual Hollywood gasbags worked with The Lincoln Project to attack Trump in ads just before the election - a decision that I devoutly hope creates discomfort and embarrassment for them* as the LP has come under scrutiny as a result of the news that one of its founders, John Weaver, has been accused of being a sexual predator.
No surprises, really, but it's still galling to see Sam Elliott on the list, particularly after all those westerns he made and the "Aw, shucks!" persona he affected and the sturdy, rugged and independent cowboy image he cultivated. Just another shill for the ruling class. Or, as they say in the genuine west, "all hat and no cattle".
*Of course it's wishful thinking. Hollywood is probably the capital of pedophilia in the United States, and most of those who aren't practicing it are ignoring it or actually helping to cover it up.
Update: Julie Kelly rips the Lincoln Project a new one. These guys really are lower than a whale turd at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. Bad cess to the scoundrels.
Elliott's the only surprise in that rogues' gallery. Damn.
