I gotta tell you, I am really missing Florida right about now. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Miami in 1979, and Mrs. Paco and I lived there for about 12 years. I miss the sun, the warmth, the palm trees and, perhaps most of all, the Cuban food.
Gotta love our True Republican Governor DeSantis. Took the Red Pill and fights for us.

ReplyDeleteI miss Cuban food. Porto's Bakery and Cafe in Burbank, California was my introduction, and became a favorite dining choice. It is amazing! The pastries and cakes are so pretty that you hate to eat them, but the deliciousness that awaits cannot be denied. The sandwiches accompanied by plantain chips are wonderful too. There is a little red bean thing that I loved. Porto's is one of the few things I miss about California.
