Does it really seem like we have a president? Or is there just an amorphous socialist cloud issuing orders through a sock puppet? I'm inclined to agree with Daniel Greenfield: "There is No Biden Administration".
Biden’s face is everywhere, but there’s no real sign that he’s actually running anything. Instead the Biden administration seems to be exactly the kind of mess that the 25th Amendment was designed to prevent in which a non-functional president is the figurehead for the cabinet members and the special interests who are actually calling all the shots.
The Potemkin village that is the Biden administration was built in two tiers with establishment cabinet members who appear more moderate presented for Senate approval while extremists were being placed in key positions to set policy on everything from civil rights to Iran.
It's obvious there is no one guiding intellect behind the Biden administration. Many gliby say "Susan Rice," and no doubt she puts her oar in, but it's inescapable that there is a team of handlers writing these orders and shoving them across the Resolute Desk for signature. The only question in my mind is, is it a tight knit clique, or an amorphous and shifting group? Harris has no political convictions other than a lust for power, and "Doctor" Doctorjill appears to only want the status of FLOTUS.
ReplyDeleteThis just occurs to me out of the air - does the recent story that young staffers are being bounced for prior pot use, after originally being told it would not be disqualifying, fit in here? Is somebody clearing away a rival faction? Or is that simply the result of a chaotic situation where nobody is calling the shots?
Interesting thoughts. When Obama was president, nobody crossed him because he was {{THE LIGHTBRINGER}}, protected by his adoring chorus. Bad-tempered old Joe doesn't have that kind of cachet, besides being dismissed by everybody because he's old, mentally slipping, and unlikeable. There could very well be a struggle behind the scenes between the old Obamabots and the new Squad cohort.
ReplyDelete" ... is it a tight knit clique, or an amorphous and shifting group?"
ReplyDeleteNo way it's a tight knit clique. I'd bet on a shadow cabinet comprised of major power elements within the Deep State, and reps from the corporations, cutting deals with each other to advance independent agendas, with treachery applied as needed.
It's also possible that there is some sort of "command council" that gives any shadow cabinet their marching orders, or at least blesses their plans. Said council might be comprised of, say, Pelosi, Rice, Harris, maybe a couple of others. If so, it won't last. As an example, see how the Soviet Union rolled out after Red October.
There will be a single, unelected leader once the power struggles are over. So much for the rule of law.
