What an idiotic regime

During Rome's long imperial period, most of the emperors knew that they needed to keep the Praetorian Guard happy; those who failed to do so sometimes met very unpleasant ends.

The Democrat leadership has "fortified" our nation's capital with hundreds of troops, but can't seem to feed them anything but swill (seasoned with metal shavings). Ace has the story.

"Raw chicken again?!?  Get us some Five Guys burgers and fries on the double or you're about to see what a real insurrection looks like!"

Eventually it was the Emperor Constantine who decided enough of this, and after the Battle of the Milvian Bridge, which established him as the sole claimant to the throne, he disbanded the Pretorians.

Biden is too dumb to figure it out, but perhaps one of Harris' handlers is even now contemplating disbanding the National Guard. Of course, if they try, most of the state governors will simply recall their units and keep them under state control.

The question is, what comes afterwards? Obviously Constantine did not go unguarded, and neither will Biden's successor.

Why do you think that the NG troops have no ammo?

Say the name: Ashli Babbitt! Because none of the Roll Over Party Senators questioning Wray would.

Tomorrow is the day when the supposed Army of QAnon is supposed to roll out and invade Washington D.C. If they don't show, I wonder what other excuse Pelosi, Schumer, et al will use to keep the city militarized.

Rebecca: Pelosi will probably claim that there was no "uprising" because the presence of troops served as a deterrent. So, success! Let's keep them there to serve as a deterrent in the future.

First the troops sleep on concrete floors, then they're given toxic chow.
If a Democrat administration wanted to encourage support within the military for their opponents, this would be a good way to get the ball rolling.

These are the people our fine Dem betters are counting on to keep us in our place.

Someone should show the movie the Battleship Potemkin to the Dems.
They wouldn't learn a thing, but it would be funny watching them not draw any of the obvious conclusions from the blatant parallels.
