"Dang! Wish we'd have known that before we sold 'em all at a yard sale for twenty bucks!"

First, God rest his soul and comfort his family. And, no, as far as I know, the family has not disposed of the baseball cards at a yard sale. A doctor in Florida who died of COVID-19 left his family a baseball card collection worth $20 million

But it does sound like the kind of things my heirs would probably do.

"Hey, check out these old books, everybody! Some of them go back to the 1700's. And we're only charging fifty cents a pound!"

  1. Wow, indeed. That's quite a remarkable collection. The Babe Ruth card, alone, is worth over $5 million.
