I have never seen or heard of anything like this in baseball history
I haven't watched in years. I have no memory of who played in or won last year's World Series. It's a good thing I'm not in France in 1944.
That play does remind me of another Pittsburgh team. Probably 20 or more years ago, before they changed the rule, a team kicked off to start a half I think, the ball made it to the 5 yard line and started rolling slowly toward the end zone. A Steeler, not realizing the ball was live, waved all his team mates off. The other team scooped up the ball. It was highlarious. So long as you weren't a Steeler fan.
I miss baseball. I stopped watching back...you know when. Is it better now?
