Way too late to do us any good, unfortunately. He fully served his purpose - maintaining the country in a constant state of fear and confusion in an election year - and now the left seems primed to dump him..
I found this comment in the linked Instapundit post highly appropriate, as well as amusing: "Fauci was just the John Roberts of public health: a guy trying to protect an institution without regard to the purpose of the institution itself."

On one hand, I'm going to very happy to see the back end of that duplicitous little gargoyle, my schadenfreude will be like birthday cake. On the other hand, I think he's going to be used as a scapegoat to cover up for a whole lot of bad actors.
