"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Why is she holding a sammich? I thought RC Cola was consumed with a Moonpie.
ReplyDeleteI don't reckon they sell Moon Pies out thar in Hollywood. Them folks prolly insist on somethin' more refined, like Twinkies or Ding Dongs.
ReplyDeleteNever drank much RC as a kid. In fact, I really don't have any memories of drinking it, or what it tasted like. I was mainly a Pepsi guy with an occasional DrPepper or Mountain Dew. I probably did drink one or two when I was real young, but don't remember it.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty much off of sweet soda drinks these days (doctor's orders), but RC was my favorite cola (Pepsi was a close second; Coke always struck me as too syrupy). Loved Dr. Pepper, also Cheerwine, a black-cherry soda sort of drink made in Salisbury, North Carolina. When I was growing up, you could only get Cheerwine in the western part of the state - which was one of the many treats I associate with going to Grandma Paco's house.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite hot dog place, Dallas Hot Weiners in Kingston, NY, had an RC dispener.
ReplyDeleteI moved away and went back and ordered 2 no onions, fries and an RC, she told me no RC, Pepsi.
I almost cried.
No RC? Outrageous!
