Good luck fighting off a home invasion if President Chuckles ever gets his way

True, it's possible he has no idea what he's saying; but his handlers are surely fine with this.

“The idea you need a weapon that can have the ability to fire 20, 30, 40, 50, 120 shots from that weapon, whether it’s a, whether it’s a 9mm pistol or whether it’s a rifle, is ridiculous.”

I guess Doc Holliday, with his single action six-shooter, might have a slim chance of fighting off two or three guys carrying Glock 17s, each loaded with 17-round magazines, and I suppose Biden's weapon of choice - a double-barreled shotgun - might serve, if you've got something in 12 ga. that makes a wide pattern (and if you don't mind replacing a window or two, and perhaps a sheet of drywall). But the law-abiding homeowner is best off using overwhelming force against intruders, so there really is no such thing as "excessive" capacity.

Maybe what the gun-controlling ruling class is really afraid of is that one day, angry citizens, fed up with having their rights trampled by leftists, will march on Washington actually bearing arms - and not just revolvers. Imagine the terror that would sweep through the halls of the Deep State; I mean, look how traumatized they were by a gaggle of unarmed protestors. 

Obviously, (pauses for a moment, looks off into the middle distance, smiles, and then recollects himself) er, obviously, one hopes something like that would never be necessary. But that our "fine betters" perhaps think it's possible, and that they are afraid of such an eventuality, means that the Second Amendment is working precisely as it was designed to.
