So far the military is only out in Sydney, but I'm sure that other Premiers are itching for a piece of that khaki action.
In Chicago they release accused murderers awaiting trial with electronic monitoring devices attached. In DC they hold accused trespassers indefinitely. Both are political acts, and an affront to justice.
How is this American justice to keep a man in prison for a year on misdemeanor charges without a trial? In what American courtroom is this legal?
