One rule for them, another rule for the rest of us. The stench of corruption is overwhelming.

Let me indulge in one of my favorite wishes: Crazy Aunt Nan drops dead and Paul gets himself a 20-something trophy wife who takes him for everything he has.
ReplyDeleteSoon to be a major motion picture!
ReplyDeleteAustralia has become a police state, slowly then suddenly in recent weeks. I would not have believed it before. At least the east coast where I am. All over 50-60 deaths and fear that we'll succumb like the Asian states - but we're different.
ReplyDeleteWe have to log in (govt website) with QR Code when shopping, even for a takeaway coffee. Mark of the Beast! But most of us oldies don't have smartphones, so I just ran up to the local mart at 7am to grab some shopping, hopefully before 'the Inspectors' are out enforcing compliance - I guess they work 9-5. Businesses have been hit since the bushfires 2 years ago, and the elites have never worked in a real job so are clueless. No one sensible trusts the police any more.
Oh and the old question 'How did the nice Germans become Nazis' has been answered - a lot of local 'Nazis'(Karens?) have emerged to report on fellow citizens and feel virtuous. It's disgusting.
I'm hoping Boris Johnson's Freedom Day will teach us a lesson, because we tend to follow the UK, and it will make our leaders look silly. It will shut the Karens up, there are rumblings among the workers who aren't submitting quietly.
