When it comes to gold, it's not that I'm obsessed with it; I just love the stuff.
My stepfather's sister was a jeweler who made most of her product by hand, and she bought a lot of her gold (and gems) from one guy. She said he always looked a little seedy and disheveled, and drove a beat-up old car. Apparently it was something of a disguise; nobody would ever suspect this down-at-the-heels character of transporting hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of gold and diamonds.
