"Taliban Offered Biden Control of Kabul, but He Declined".
The chaos in Afghanistan could have reportedly been avoided altogether if President Joe Biden had accepted the Taliban’s initial offer for the U.S. to have full control of Kabul and the airport.
According to a report from the Washington Post, as the Taliban began taking control of Afghanistan, senior U.S. military leaders met with Taliban political leader Abdul Ghani Baradar in Doha, Qatar, where an offer was made for the United States to have control of Kabul until all U.S. troops had withdrawn; the offer was declined.
Can we impeach Biden now? But, in reality, what good would it do? This decision may well have been made by his minders. Can we impeach them?
Update I absolutely would not be surprised to see this happen: "In Response To Afghanistan Disaster, Pelosi Begins Impeachment Proceedings Against President Trump".
Don't leave out Pelosi, and Schumer, and...hell, just save us all the trouble, and impeach the entire Democrat Party!
ReplyDeleteWhy are we trusting the Taliban? Why are we giving legitimacy to them? We should be dictating/controlling the exit, and we would if Trump were President.
ReplyDeleteBTW, last week, I was mulling the debacle. The "war" ended awhile ago. US presence is the deterrent in the region. Troops should remain for the same reasons there are US troops in Korea, Germany, Italy, etc. The withdrawal aka giving the farm away has ensured a terrorist state.
Now the Taliban, unhappy with being given more Blackhawks than 15 nations, vast arsenals and military infrastructure, want the US to unfreeze their money, which Biden will do. There is also talk of foreign aid.
The long standing idea is that the Taliban are just stone age goat herders. They are not.
If we were to remove Joe Biden as President, then we get Kami McKackles, which is horrifying. And who would they pick for her VP? At this rate, I don't think there's anybody who would accept the job. Our whole government is nothing but a dumpster fire.

ReplyDeleteThere will be attacks on the US homeland, and abroad. I predict one to occur on September 11. Until then, terrorists hand out candy and fire celebratory gun fire while Joe et al dithers and takes more bricks out of the US foundation.
