Is there no protocol, are there no guidelines at all, for drumming senators out of the Republican Party when they demonstrate over and over that they are open Democrat plants?
"Mitt Romney: Trump Administration Helped ‘Cause this Crisis’ in Afghanistan".
Even if there are rules for this sort of thing, I'm sure corruptocrat Mitch McConnell wouldn't ever raise a hand against Romney - he's too much like him, as Emerald Robinson points out in this great piece, "How The GOP Committed Suicide Trying to Stop Trump". A sample:
McConnell wanted Trump convicted, that’s for sure. He pushed that sham until it was clear that he didn't have the votes. The GOP establishment wanted Trump dead and buried to clear the way for Their People in 2024. At the 11th hour, McConnell realized that he didn’t have the votes and so he told his Republican colleagues: he would no longer vote to convict President Trump. The entire pointless exercise had only served to enrage the GOP base. This time there was no ground cover to hide his double-dealing. The Turtle had been caught.
This is one turtle I'd never stop to pluck out of the middle of the road. I don't know if the GOP is salvageable at all, but even if there's a remote chance, it involves, first and foremost, amputating the useless RINO appendages.
Drum him out?
ReplyDeleteBut he's showing Integrity and Bravery.
He is the modern GOP.
The only person they hate more than their voters is Trump.
Is anyone surprised at Romney's action?
ReplyDeleteNo, but it is infuriating that the Republican Party doesn't make him pay a price (and that, too, is not surprising).
