Updated and bumped, again: As Neo asks, "What is wrong with these people?
Here's a particularly interesting citation from her post (drawn from the Politico article she links to):
In written and verbal communications, Gen. Frank McKenzie, commander of U.S. Central Command, and Rear Adm. Peter Vasely, head of U.S. forces on the ground in Afghanistan, have referred to the Taliban as “our Afghan partners,” according to two defense officials.
That would be U.S. Marine Corps General McKenzie. We are well and truly sunk.
Updated and bumped No nation can survive this level of incompetence and perfidy at the top for very long: "Biden Regime Provided Taliban with Names of AMERICANS, Afghan Allies".
And here's a more important, and ominous, point: no nation can survive an electorate that is stupid and/or ignorant enough to create a situation where this level of incompetence is installed in the first place.
Suicide bombings in Kabul, with approximately 60 people dead, including ten U.S. Marines.
And Biden wants to talk about COVID and cyber-security, as if the disaster in Afghanistan is just "one of those things", all in a day's work.
If Biden doesn't voluntarily go, or isn't removed, I don't see how the country comes back from his (and his minders') criminal mismanagement. And dumping him would only be a baby step, since he's nothing but a figurehead; the Democrats are working overtime to institutionalize the theft of future elections, are bankrupting the nation, and are attempting to habituate us to house arrest. It's difficult to see this as being merely aggressive leftist action, although it is that, too; the fever that has seized the Democrat/media/corporatist world has all the earmarks of madness - or, worse: the mark of the cloven hoof.
Update Media scum: "On Wednesday, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough publicly expressed his hope that the Afghanistan disaster would 'fade from the headlines' with adequate time for Joe Biden and the Democratic Party to make a political comeback before the 2022 midterms."

Remember, there were zero combat casualties in Afghanistan from February 2020 until now.
ReplyDeleteThis is on Joe Biden, and no one else.
IT's not gonna get anything but worse.
ReplyDeleteWatching our fine betters explain it's Trump's fault is going to be infuriating.
The only interesting thing is how they're going to get rid of Que Mala before getting rid of Biden.
News around the world are quoting Biden as if his words have meaning.
ReplyDeleteInstead after a lifetime of politics he seems to be on autopilot, spouting cliches from old speeches. Yet they consult him like some pagan idol and base policy on his ramblings. And there's no one competent down the formal chain of command who isn't a grifter. Very grim.
Our friends wonder what's happening in Australia, but I think underneath the over-reactions you see on TV our leaders are frightened about wider tectonic changes in the world. Similar thing happened in 1942 when Singapore fell, and by extension the British umbrella we had lived under was gone. Australia is always playing catch-up, never ahead of the curve.
these are just distractions from the advancement of the budget priorities and programs of the glorious agenda of this scandal free administration.
ReplyDeleteJust a bit of advice from Lockdownunder.

Biden's people previously gave Putin a list of our critical infrastructure, why wouldn't they give a list of people not to kill to the Taliban; probably the same adults in the room made both lists.
