Supposedly less than 10% of the state patrol refused to get the jab. Personally, I think it's higher than that, primarily because the state government is run by a collection of ares covering liars.
ALL (and I mean ALL) state and local agencies are facing this issue. While this is anecdotal, I know many friends are giving Inslee The Finger© on this matter.
More to the point ... ... the state ferry system has cancelled multiple runs because employees are gone, school districts can't hire bus drivers, and WADOT crews are walking out ("The Washington State Department of Transportation has closed five Interstate 5 rest areas north of Seattle because of excessive trash, vandalism and a staffing shortage" (mostly staffing shortage, I expect).
And so on. The clueless clowns in Olympia, when asked about this several weeks ago, just shrugged and said stupid things like "Well, we have a 15% turnover of employees every year, so no problem." Which is as clueless as when the current New York governor said she'd replace fired hospital workers with the National Guard (assuming the Guard troops got the jab, most credentialed medical personnel [e.g., nurses] in the Guard and Reserve are medical workers in civilian life, HELLO!)

I find it hilarious that the defiant phrase of our time was given us by a member in good standing of our Minitrue betters at NBC.
Irony can be pretty ironic sometimes.
The vaccinated vs unvaccinated debacle is intrusive and divisive. The latest insanity has spread to nursing/rehab facilities in Texas. Texas Department of Health and Human Services has instructed facilities to segregate unvaccinated from vaccinated during meals. I am personally experiencing the restriction at the facility where I am in rehab from COVID. My friends and I have been dining together for some time. Last night, a nurse upped the game by advising a friend who was showing solidarity by dining with me that had she not been in mid-meal she would have been stopped. I fully expect them to withold my friend's trays today. This was the same nurse who recoiled a few steps after finding out my unvaccinated. It was truly funny.
Meanwhile, a 'fully vaccinated' Colin Powell has departed this mortal coil.

Gregory: I wonder if there are any reliable statistics on deaths by COVID of people who have been fully vaccinated. I haven't really looked into it, but there seems to be quite of bit of worrisome anecdotal info.

I doubt it. I've read that one is not considered as vaccinated until 14 days after the final jab. Anyone croaking in that window would not be counted as "vaccinated".

Paco, there seems to have been a sharp 180 in the announcements from our betters. Last year everyone was dying from covid - but vaccines were on the way! Now we've got the vaccines and no death can be even remotely connected to covid.

For the record, Mr. H and I got both Moderna jabs last winter, but we continue to believe that should be a personal choice, not a mandate. Now they keep telling us that you can get COVID anyway, even if you're vaccinated, and yet they're pushing booster shots. I won't be getting the booster because, if I'm at risk anyway, what would be the point? The health care industry in this country has gone to hell, and they didn't even bother with the hand basket.
I got the Moderna shots and Mrs. Paco got the Pfizer. I don't plan on getting a booster. I keep hearing horror stories about people who have had bad reactions (up to and including dying) from the vaccines. Probably a small number, but the health "professionals" are vague, and, in any event, you can't really believe anything the government says these days, on any subject.
