Back in the day, the president of NASCAR would have laughed, lit up a Winston cigarette, and told the critics to go p*ss up a rope (and thought of ways to slap the slogan on as much NASCAR merchandise as possible). Now, of course, it's a different story: "NASCAR President Denounces ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Rally Cry That Originated at Their Race".

Could it be that the NASCAR president is about to get a first hand experience of what "Go woke, go broke" is all about?
ReplyDeleteI also lost interest in NASCAR a few years ago. All the old drivers I cared about were retiring, and the races started to become less interesting, so I stopped watching. Looks like I was just ahead of the curve.
I quit watching when they dropped the R.J Reynolds endorsement (the Winston cup) and went with Nextel.
