Christmas cheer from Kay Starr

  1. Nice, but not much public Christmas cheer this year.
We in NSW were set 'free' on Wednesday, so my wife ventured to our nearest city centre, first time in nearly a year. She likes to see the malls full of kids at Christmas. Was shocked that they're almost deserted this year. No decorations, no Santa, and almost no people or kids at all (also few staff in shops). In a city of 200k people, 1 week before Christmas.

She struck up a convo with a stranger who said his friend got vax side effects but authorities don't want to know, then a young fellow overhearing, chimed in how his friend was paralysed by a leg clot. The only place you'd know its Christmas is TV, where it's overdone, shrill, in between scare 'news' of thousands of 'cases'. Karens demanding they bring back restrictions to 'keep us safe'. Will our 'freedom' even last?

It all reminds me of some episode of the Twilight Zone, the phony war?

    1. So sad...except for Lefties. It sounds like their Utopia.

Drive a Lefty wild by staying happy and wishing Merry Christmas to everyone you meet.

  2. Oh and we're 93% vaccinated in NSW.

  3. A sad state of affairs. And with Joey Soup Brains getting some judicial support for his private sector vaccine mandate, we'll probably be joining you in your misery - although maybe not everywhere in the U.S; several states, particularly Florida, are standing tall against the feds.
