    A more edgy and bitter Christmas song (and who wants that but here we are) is offered by Miss Lena Belle with her rendition of
    "It's Beginning to look like Fascism."

    I used to know all the Latin words to Adeste Fideles because we sang it in church choir. Lovely song.

    Merry Christmas to you, your family and readers Paco. I have been a daily reader and occasional contributor since the Tim Blair days and love your style and wit.
    Christmas Eve this year (near Sydney) is a comfy 85 degrees with maybe a bit of rain. Much more preferable to some of the blast furnace Christmas days of recent years.

    I like 85 degrees; unfortunately, here, it's been bouncing between the mid 50s and low 60s during the day, and dropping down into the 30s at night. I knew we weren't far enough south!
