The Simpsons: "Biden Admin uses Tom Hanks for ‘credibility’ in new video, just like ‘The Simpsons Movie’".
Is Hanks this hard up for money? Sad.

He probably did it for free.
He doesn't like Americans very much.
Hanks was in one of those compilations of celebrities mocking the prospect of Trump becoming President. Maybe he lost a bet.
I particularly despise Hanks. He can dump on normal Americans, hang with his Democrat buddies, and support donk candidates, and then go out and make movies about WWII in which he's the great patriotic hero. To me, he's always come across as a creep, in spite of his politics. That psycho stare, for one thing.
I should have said, "regardless of his politics".
Politics aside, Hanks is a talented actor, director, and producer. The other night I saw "A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood" about Mr. Rogers. Hanks played Rogers, of course. It is fantastic! I highly recommend it.
I figure that everyone has the right to their views.
I'm not denying that he has talent, and of course he's entitled to his own views, just as I'm entitled to despise those views and the sanctimony with which he delivers them.
Years ago, Hanks donated a million dollars to the drama department of my university. I respected him for that, and I always enjoyed his performances. But he is, like so many of his kind, a creature of Hollywood, which means he carefully constructs a nice guy persona for the public, hiding the little squirmy gray thing he really is.
