So, Goldberg is getting suspended for two weeks from The View because of her idiotic comments on the Holocaust (short version: Hey, the Nazi's couldn't have been killing Jews because of race hatred 'cause the Jews ain't black!) and she's miffed about it. Apparently, we're talking two weeks paid suspension.
Man, when I worked for the government, I would have killed to get a two weeks paid suspension!
"No, no, two weeks isn't nearly enough to punish my awfulness. Better make it two months!"
remember when the government shutdown for a month...I was happy I worked at USDA, at first, because our budget had been passed and we got paid; the Forest Service, under USDA, but funded by Department of Interior, was not funded, so they were shut down and didn't get paid. After the shutdown ended, and everybody got paid, for not working, I was miffed, but I hadn't missed any paychecks.
