Another member of New York's Violent Criminal Platinum-Tier Justice System
I guarantee that most NYers either don't care or think it's funny. "Haha, that fascist, racist, homophobe deserved it!" Zeldin has no chance, NYers have the gov't they want.
They charged the guy with attempted assault (but not attempted murder), and then let him go. What do you think the chances are they're going to be able to get him back into court for a trial (or even be able to find him)?
I guess they considered it a mostly peaceful assault.
