Happy Feet Friday
Benny Goodman and the boys with an instrumental version of "Minnie the Moocher's Wedding Day" (live radio performance on the "Camel Caravan" program, 1937).
That certainly got the whole caravan jumpin'! It would be great to hear the explanation of the camels in the chapel. "Anything for Minnie", says da boys.
For informational purposes: the Camel Caravan was a music program that ran from 1933 through 1954, and was sponsored by Camel cigarettes. Benny Goodman's instrumental, "Camel Hop", was a musical bow to the show.
