I've seen a lot of sci-fi movies, and every time the authorities don't listen to this guy, earth gets caught with its pants down: "Florida Man Accused of Driving to Space Force Base in Stolen Truck to Warn of Aliens".
"Come in, General X511Q. Greetings, sir! I am happy to report that the man in Florida was halted and arrested before he was able to overturn the legumes. Yes, sir, it looks like unimpeded navigation via water-born vessel propelled by tensile structure and wind for the invasion. Sir? Er, yes, 'clear sailing' would have been a more economical use of words. Thank you for the correction, sir. Over and out."
The story would have been better if the guy delivering the warning had got caught with HIS pants down!
