With Biden in the White House, working overtime to discredit the "liberal world order"; cops in the Netherlands shooting at protesting farmers whose livelihoods are being threatened by insane green energy fabulism; and increasing nationalist tendencies in Europe as a result of idiotic immigration policies, things may well get better in the coming few years.

A friend's father came back from the war in Europe and said 'The Dutch have the arrogance of the Germans but without the brains'.
(Same friend later married a Dutch girl in Europe, so 'not all Dutch')
It really highlights how the elites are a clique unto themselves, increasingly disconnected from reality.
PS, Flemish Belgians and Dutch are basically the same people.

Yeah I think he just meant on a personal level. I think I've observed that Dutch men are more likely to get into arguments because they respond verbally very fast, while Germans may be more thoughtful and careful about what they say. Just like in this case.
Did you know the Pilgrims lived in Leiden for years before making the journey to Plymouth? The Dutch certainly have good points, it depends on the circumstances.

Her talks tend to ramble a bit but she has other 'assets' which attract fans I think. 'Good points' you might say.

Yeah, she's a lot better looking than The History Guy, but at my age that qualification is no longer real high on the list. I may watch a few more of her videos to see if her subject matter keeps me more interested than her "good points".

During our sojourn in then-West Germany, we drove through Holland (yeah, it only took a day). At that time they had suffered a terrorist act on a train carried about by East Moluccans (had never heard of them, and have heard nothing about them since). There were graffiti signs everywhere saying "Boot the blacks". I was surprised to learn that English is an official language there.
Those farmers need to take the Dutch gov't to the Hague for Crimes Against Humanity.
Now that would be hilarious.
