ReplyDeleteYou appear to make a common mistake regarding "gun control." Governments don't want to get rid of guns. They want to disarm the populace while maintaining control of weapons for their own use.
ReplyDeleteJust as here in the US. Biden doesn't want to "ban" semiautomatic rifles. He wants you disarmed while he controls thousand of them for his own ends. Rest assured that once you and I are disarmed there will still be plenty of weapons in the hands of police and the feds. And of course the criminals, to the extent that we could differentiate between them all.
I always intend for gun control to mean disarmament of law-abiding citizens.
