So, the hapless - but apparently high living - Ronna McDaniel was reelected as chair-thing of the Republican National Committee.
According to the Breitbart article linked above, she was "effectively handpicked by former President Donald Trump to run the RNC"; if so, then this is yet another example of Donald Trump's, to put it extremely charitably, "mixed" record of picking reliable people for political positions (which is probably the biggest thing I have against him as a candidate for president in 2024 - that, plus the possibility that his platform might consist solely of protestations that he was robbed - which is true, but that's not a winning program unless it's placed in the much larger context of election integrity, in general).
