"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
This has me researching engraving tools (because I'm a sucker for tools). Surprisingly affordable.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I consider engraving weapons to be sacrilege, those are beautiful cylinders.
ReplyDeleteArtisans always impress me. She's very good!
Jeff: Yes, I'm with you. I'm not a fan of engraved firearms, but I admire her skill.
ReplyDeleteRebecca: Do you do engraving?
Paco, I don't engrave (yet), but I do own a Dremel, far too many bits, and a small Dremel that could be an engraver except that I use it for fine details on taqua nut and avocado seed carvings.
ReplyDeleteRebecca: I had never heard of tagua nuts until you mentioned them. I checked out some videos of people making tiny sculptures and other decorative items, and most of them seemed to be using Dremels. Fascinating. I'll have to use one of those videos in my working-with-your-hands posts.
