I've also read reports that the Secret Service won't allow Trump to be handcuffed if he's arrested. Although I've also read that he wants to be handcuffed (it would be powerful street theater).
I think the idiot Manhattan DA just wants to be the guy who bagged Trump. In any event, the donks are going to keep trying, even if this gambit fails.
