Henry Repeating Arms, which manufactures fine lever-action rifles (I own one: the Big Boy Steel, in .41 Magnum) is adding revolvers to its product line. The company will be offering two models, both chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 special, double action, one model with "gunfighter" grips, one with birdshead grips.
MFSR price is well over $900, and even though nobody ever pays that, these are still going to be kind of expensive - but they do look very nice.
I saw that, they look cool but pricey.
ReplyDeleteI also liked the side loading, brass Big Boy. I don't like tube mag you load from the end.
I also liked the .360 buchammer lever.
A bunch of cool new guns.
Too bad I'm not in the market right now.
Mine doesn't have a side loading gate. I don't think Henry was making any rifles with those when I bought mine. But I've gotten used to it.
ReplyDeleteMine doesn't have it either.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say I've grown used to it, but it's .44mag and I haven't wanted to spend the money to shoot it for a long time.
I have a sleedloader for my Remington Speedmaster .22. It's a tube withe 4 or 5 tubes in it that hold 15 .22LR, they drop into the tube mag perfectly.
I'd like to get some pvc and make one for the Big Boy.
I have a Rossi Model 92 in .44 Mag, but I usually shoot .44 Spl out of it; however, .44 Spl has gotten to be pretty expensive.
ReplyDeleteYou ought to try your pvc experiment and send a picture in to Henry. Let's hope they have a fainting couch handy.
