I certainly hope this is true - "BREAKING: Republicans preparing for McConnell retirement announcement".
But it's hard to get particularly excited. Who's going to replace him? John Cornyn? John Thune?
If the Republicans are going to make a difference, they need a revolution in their own party.
Maybe we'll get lucky and Charlie Crist will return to the Republicans... or perhaps Joe Scarborough will come back into politics!

ReplyDeleteI bet we'll find out that his replacement, by the dem gov, isn't going to have to deal with an election for longer than if he'd done it at another time.
Or some other machiavellian machination directed at his voters.
