"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Eternal respect and gratitude to all who gave the greatest sacrifice.
ReplyDeleteLest we forget.
ReplyDeleteI saw a comment under a YT video last week, where someone asked why there was a Memorial Day. You would probably think it was someone from another country, but I'm pretty sure it was a leftist from this country annoyed that we were paying respect to people who defended the country he hated. Which gives even more meaning to why we have Memorial Day.
ReplyDeleteAnd remember my older brother who joined the Navy in 1965 fresh out of high school, and is now in a dementia care home with no memories to share of his service to our country. At least we can remember him.
Right. We should also remember because of those who no longer can. God bless him.
ReplyDeleteThey shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
ReplyDeleteAge shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
