No, not the braindead perv in the White House. I'm talking about Chicago's new mayor, Brandon Johnson, who has presided over a 38% increase in crime - in his first month in office.
At this rate, everybody in Chicago is eventually going to become a victim three or four times over.
They don't say increase from when.
ReplyDeleteIf it's the months before he took office, that's a big ol' Duh.
Warmer weather means more crime.
If it's over last year in the same period, that means something.
I stopped clicking PJMedia's links, clickbait and amateurish reporting.
From the Washington Examiner article, linked by PJ Media: "... new data show Mayor Johnson has presided over a 38% crime spike over his first month in office when comparing it to the same period last year."
ReplyDeleteI figured, but if you just read theirs you wouldn't know.
DeleteI'd say that proves my point.
PJM should have made that clear.
It also shows I don't click links much.
Those folks in Chicago do have a choice. They can either become victims, or they can become Paul Kersey.
ReplyDeleteWell, technically, not everybody will be three times a victim. The criminals doing the criminal acts are the favored class, so they can't be victims except as victims of the ultra-MAGA white supremacists that run Chicago government.
ReplyDeleteYou know, the ones that attacked Jusse Smollett.
This may be Brandon’s first month in office, but he made his intentions very clear in the past.
ReplyDeleteSo the criminals were likely ready to ramp up activities on Day One.
Once the "activities" spill over into Chicago's wealthy neighborhoods (which it will sooner or later), things will start to turn around. Until then, nobody cares what happens to inner city Chicago, certainly not the worthless pols who govern the place.
