Example 1,096 of "Leftists always turn every place they control into a hell-hole"

"Anti-White Racism and the Maui Fires".

I wouldn't live in Hawaii on a bet. I've never been there, and I'm sure there is much natural beauty, and I suppose the climate appeals to a lot of people, but, from what I've seen and read, much of it looks like a conglomeration of shabby beach towns run  by idiots with racial chips on their shoulders. Throw in the Democrat Party's commanding presence and a level of incompetence at the government level that stands out even among leftist enclaves, and...you can have it.

  1. We went to Maui back in the mid-90s, and it is a beautiful place to visit. We rented a car and explored the whole island, including Lahaina. There's an area in the rainforest part of the island where only native Hawaiians live, but to get there back then was via one-land roads along the coast. There were signs on the road that proclaimed if you met a native driving the other way, you were required to back up until you got to a turnoff to let them pass. Also, if you go there, be prepared to be treated with contempt by some of the retail and wait staff, as we were. But the hotel where we stayed was managed by a sweet Asian lady who was very kind to us. Overall, we had a good time, but I'd never go back.

    1. The ill treatment was maybe part experience with ugly visitors, and part ill treatment by other races, not just White. I lived in Hawaii in the '60s. People disliked people from a different group, and even cross-town high school rivals.
      The dislike sometimes turned violent.

  2. It's a hell-hole now, but just give them more time, and money, and power and less Republican interference and they'll turn the hell-holes into utopias!

    I'm sure.

  3. They hate whitey, but love the money and resources. Without those, the depopulation of Hawaii would be swift and ugly. In comparison, the “Lord of the Flies” and “1984” would pale.

The fate of the Easter Island inhabitants is an example of just how island ecologies and economies work. Alas, lefties disdain learning from history.

  4. Eggs, omelets.

That omelet will be along any time now. Yup, any time... and when it does arrive, you know it will be the best omelet humanity has every experienced!

  5. a guy I worked with at USDA was going to retire to Hawaii; I never had that desire; a lot of tourist destinations like the momey, but hate the tourists; I like to be away from the crowds.
