Special offering: Mrs. Paco and I like to watch old Bonanza episodes every now and then, and we can usually find them on YouTube; however, the versions you get vary wildly - some have foreign language soundtracks, some have foreign language subtitles. Yesterday, we came across an episode that had the original English-language soundtrack, but English-language subtitles had also been added. Or, it was a sort of English; I'm wondering if this version wasn't maybe a high-school project for a first-year English student in China or Kazakhstan - or perhaps even an attempt by a student in one of our own fine public schools. Here are a handful of renderings:

The cool thing was, we could enjoy the show on two levels: the dramatic story, as reflected in the original soundtrack, and the unintentional comic relief afforded by the subtitles.

I would suggest a third possibility on the sketchy Bonanza translations: AI translator. Yes, they can be bad at their job sometimes.
That hurricane Hillary one made me laugh too.
