I'm tempted to join Twitter (n/k/a/ X) just to get on Jack's special list

"Special Counsel Jack Smith Sought Info On Anyone Who ‘Favorited Or Retweeted’ Trump Tweets".

But it wasn’t just Trump’s Twitter account that Smith and his cronies were targeting. The special counsel’s warrant also sought data on Twitter users who interacted with the former president’s account. Among the information Smith sought was a list of every user Trump “followed, unfollowed, muted, unmuted, blocked, or unblocked” during the aforementioned timeframe. Smith similarly demanded that Twitter, which has since rebranded as X, fork over a list of users who took any of the same actions with Trump’s account.

Smith: I've got news for you, Paco. You're ALREADY on my special list.

Me: Solid, Jackson! Nice tunic, by the way. Star Trek?

  1. I paid for my X account when Elon was falsely accused of antisemitism, and advertisers starting leaving. Soon after Xi kinda sorta suggested it.

Getting on Jack Smith's list is merely gravy.

  2. That's the face of a dictator wannabe if ever I saw one. Maybe he's from an alternate universe, like Spock with the goatee.

  3. Do you recollect Raymond Massie's brilliant portrayal of the abolitionist John Brown in Santa Fe Trail? Puts me in mind of Jack Smith's zealous visage.

  4. Yes, Raymond Massie portraying John Brown. Jack Smith is sure some kind of zealot.

  5. "No one is above the law," Smith solemnly intones as he dispatched SWAT teams to raid Twitter/X users.

Look on the bright side. This may take the heat off Catholics. For a little while.

  6. Not if those Catholics retweeted Trump, Stephen. That would be a win-win for Jack.

  7. JeffS, I have often wondered what the updated figure would be, from Bill Ayers' Weather Underground estimate that 25 million Americans would have to be exterminated to usher in their progressive utopia. Given the increase in the US population since the late Sixties when that estimate was first generated, would it simply be a linear increase matching the population growth?

I think we have our answer now. Roughly half the current US population needs to be "liquidated." That's how many need to be taken out by drone strikes, air strikes, ground assault, or simply black clad Federal kill teams kicking in doors and shooting citizens in the face. And it's no longer a gaggle of smelly hippies hiding out in Haight-Ashbury, but the majority of the federal government under the direction of the Democrat Party.

  8. No need to join X, Paco. If you can get on Smith's list for tweeting something favorable about Trump, I'm sure you can get on the list for criticizing Biden. Expect a knock on the door.
