"Republicans Score Huge Win in Virginia As Soros-Backed Commonwealth's Attorney Goes Down in Flames".
As the post-mortem analyses from Tuesday's off-year elections continue to roll in, there is some welcome news emerging from here in Loudoun County, Virginia: Buta Biberaj, the Soros-backed commonwealth's attorney who was soft on criminals, preferring instead to prosecute concerned parents, has been defeated by her Republican opponent, Bob Anderson.
Update As friend and commenter Tom points out, it ain't over yet: "Oh, There's a VA Dem Who's Refusing to Concede Election Defeat".
Shouldn't be this close. Just goes to show that Occupied Northern Virginia, as I call it, is a tough nut for Republicans to crack - and will continue to be unless the size of the federal workforce is sharply reduced, because it's all those government employees and their camp followers who are shoring up that leftist fortress.
Now the residents of Loudon County need to make sure Bob Anderson doesn't go squishy and actually starts prosecuting crime the way it's supposed to be done.
ReplyDeleteshe hasn't given up yet, she's down by 1k votes, but there's 2k mail in votes yet to count, so there's room for a steal.
