"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
If. Could. Might. The earth could be hit by a planet-sized asteroid too, which would kill us all. A virus could mutate and, unlike COVID, actually wipe us all out. There could be world wide nuclear war. Any one of us could get hit by a car just crossing the street. It's just more doom mongering.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the Skynet scenario, Rebecca -- more chances to die gloriously. In theory, anywho.
ReplyDeleteBut, yeah, it's doom mongering in search of funding. Oy.
