Stop getting my hopes up, New York Post!

"Kilonova space explosion could end life on Earth for 1,000 years".

  1. If. Could. Might. The earth could be hit by a planet-sized asteroid too, which would kill us all. A virus could mutate and, unlike COVID, actually wipe us all out. There could be world wide nuclear war. Any one of us could get hit by a car just crossing the street. It's just more doom mongering.

  2. I prefer the Skynet scenario, Rebecca -- more chances to die gloriously. In theory, anywho.

But, yeah, it's doom mongering in search of funding. Oy.
