A Biden family Christmas!
Jill Biden makes a big production of the White House Christmas video.
Like her fashion choices, DOCTOR Jill is tone-deaf when its comes to what the public might admire. I couldn't even watch the whole video it was so stupid.
Now, I have not read the books nor seen the films so my knowledge of the franchise is weak, but aren't they basically about a popular rebellion against an oppressive and exploitative central government?
I didn't mind the black girl* doing the tap-dancing though. If they had just focused on her and sent the rest home, and put her in a nice skirt, it would have been tasteful and ok.
*If she is a girl! These days first reaction is this may be another drag show. Sad for her and women generally, who may be very talented but are upstaged and caricatured by the drag fad.
Same with Will and Grace where the women are just props for the gay men to bounce off while they camp it up, 'chew the scenery' and go over-the-top. I'm surprised no one notices that the women in W & G aren't treated as equals in the show. It's as 'misogynist' as any old bit of patriarchy, but no one notices.

I endured the singing Christmas thing Lady Macbiden organised a couple of years ago on youtube. This year, I'm treating myself better.
