It's official

Colorado is now a member of the Communist bloc: Colorado Supreme Court Removes Trump From Ballot.

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled Tuesday in an unprecedented 4-3 decision to remove former President Donald Trump from the state’s presidential primary ballot, citing Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.
This is a nakedly partisan, anti-democratic decision that ignores the law and prior precedent. Under the text and history of the 14th Amendment, as well as court precedent, Trump is not disqualified from running for office for numerous reasons.

Read on. The matter is now headed for the U.S. Supreme Court, and how that court decides is going to provide a pretty good picture of where we are on the path to our ultimate destiny, be it constitutional restoration or civil war.

  1. Democracy is too important to be left in the hands of the electorate! If people may vote for their candidate of choice, it's the end of Our Precious Democracy™!

Real democracy would be if only the triple vaxxed and boosted could vote. While wearing masks. In fact, to have real democracy people should cast as many votes as they have had COVID shots and boosters!

  2. It's illegal, but the action is similar to a lawyer in a courtroom making an objectionable comment during a trial. The judge tells the jury to disregard it, but there is no way they can because what is heard cannot be unheard.

The Colorado Supreme Court did this to setup for other states to follow. The US Supreme Court will probably strike it down, and dismiss all others that want to be heard.

  3. Cali is mad that they didn't do it first, but they're going to follow now the trail has been blazed; others will follow too, unless/until the Supremes overrule it. I hope that they overrule it, even though it will probably incite more firey, but mostly peaceful protests.

  4. I just saw that the last time the Democrats wouldn't allow a candidate's name on the ballot was a guy named Lincoln... I laughed.

If memory serves, it caused a bit of a kerfufle when he won.

That's true. In fact, several Pacos were actively engaged on the side that came in second.
