I forgot that he was even in the race

"Asa Hutchinson Suspends His Campaign: ‘I Stand by the Campaign I Ran’".

Translation: "I embrace my loserhood".

Good riddance to another RINO footnote. I bet Asa Breeney, the bank guard played by Charles Thompson on The Andy Griffith Show, has greater facial recognition than Asa Hutchinson.

  1. I was never clear on who Ada Hutchinson even is.

  2. Asa Hutchinson sounds like one of those shady local businesses that used to sponsor late night monster and sci-fi flicks back when broadcast TV was a thing. Appliances, used cars, home furnishings, whatever.

"Come to Asa Hutchinson's Discount Carpets! Best selection in the entire Tri-County area! And now, back to tonight's exciting creature feature, The Revenge of the Return of Bride of Slug-man meets Abbott and Costello!"

  3. I'd like to notify everyone that I'm dropping out of the race too.
    The American people have spoken.

  4. I saved the American people the apathy of me dropping out by never entering the race in the first place.

Something Asa Hutchinson should have done.

  5. V: Dang. And I had some great endorsements lined up: Wayne Newton, Carrot Top. At least I hope you got some of that campaign getus.

R: Asa is one of the many politicians who is just addicted to running for office.

    1. Asa is addicted to running because of the campaign money he gets to keep, rather than the position.

  6. Stephen: Actually, Hutchinson's campaign ads probably would have gone well with those old late-night horror flicks, if he had been running back in the day.

  7. 'Danke schoen, Asa Hutchin-schoen
    Thank you and don't explain,
For all the joy and pain...'

His campaign song sung by Wayne Newton just writes itself.

    (schoen = shayne? whatever).
