Biden managed to talk without vomiting on his shoes or collapsing, so no doubt the press will declare it a howling success.
It wasn't. It was just preaching - loudly and, at times, incoherently - to the woke choir: "Joe Biden's State of the Union Was the Most Unhinged and Angry in History".
That's a good review.
ReplyDeleteThis is another good summary -- the comments are especially, ummm, enlightening.
Yeah, enlightening, that's the word!

I watched part of it on the PBS live website until I couldn't stand it anymore, and unhinged and angry hardly describes it. He yelled at top volume all the way through except when he resorted to his threatening "whispers" a couple of times, but even those were high decibel croaks. I guess this was his way of showing everybody how energetic and strong he is, but the slurring and mispronouncing put the lie to that. Speaking of lies, he also told bold-faced lie after lie. Did you know we have the strongest economy in the history of the world, and Joe single-handedly put thousands and thousands of people back to work, and the southern border is secure? Well, Joe says so. Also, if there's anything wrong now, it's "His Predecessor's" fault! I don't know how he kept himself from saying Hitlertrump.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I never watch these things, and will not ever again.
Also, they must have pumped a gallon of speed into him, he talked so fast and couldn't completely pronounce any of his words.
ReplyDeleteThe media has their talking points, and Biden's speech was "fiery."
ReplyDeleteExpect to see Joe Scarborough cream his trousers gushing over the eloquence.
Biden's tone started out strong, then the meds started to wear off. The moment was evident. It was all down hill from there, as Biden devolved (transformed) into his more recognizable form.
ReplyDeleteAs I watched the waves of adulation from Democrats pour over Biden, and consider the faithful's readily acceptance of Old Joe's lies, I shivered. This was proof of the importance of critical thinking, and a moral compass.
A love song (sort of) to Joe, from the people of San Francisco.
