When I read that, I thought "Why would they oppose a ban on importing criminals?"
Then I thought "Oh, yeah, professional courtesy".
Dreamers, I believe is the current term of art. Doing the work Americans won't.
Although, sad to say, there are Americans who would prey upon the vulnerable... but apparently not enough to suit the Biden administration.
