Hairballs are our strength

The main reason I'm linking this article at Breitbart is because of the photo that accompanies it: "France Considers Law to Ban ‘Hair Discrimination’".

Looks like French lawmaker Olivier Serva doesn't personally have a dog in this fight.

Of course, on a deeper level, he does.
“People who don´t fit in Euro-centric standards are facing discrimination, stereotypes and bias,” Serva, who is Black, told The Associated Press.
Ah, yes. Can't have Euro-centrism in a [checks notes] European country, now, can we.

French colonialism was always about turning the native peoples into good Frenchmen. Looks like that...didn't work out. As western countries continue burying their past, there is less and less for immigrants to assimilate to, so social and cultural fragmentation is inevitable.

Natural afros are one thing (and the choice of the possessor), but every time I see a black woman who wears her hair in tight braids or corn rows, I see a woman who's killing off hair follicles, which she will mightily regret when she's old.

"Hair discrimination?" What exactly does that mean? Does it apply to, say, military grooming standards? Does it apply to genuine industrial safety standards?

Way back when "The A-Team" was on TV, I was always amused seeing Mr. T working on machinery with all those rings on his fingers and chains dangling from his neck. I eagerly awaited watching him get sucked headfirst into an engine, or maybe have his arm yanked off by a fan belt. But nope, never happened. The risk would have been compounded had he also worn long dreads, but I guess the producers figured enough was too much already.
