"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Ditto on your perfect score, Paco.

OT, but Tim Blair's blog seems to be public again and he has some interesting stuff. This post about postwar Brit migrants to Australia for eg.:

The UK Liverpool public wash house blew my mind. My grandfather's grandfather was a master mariner, captain* of the Hudson which sailed the Australia route in late 19th Century. So he brought his family here, and some of his sons stayed but the rest went back, and ended up in Liverpool UK.
Looking at that video, I can't understand why people would want to live like that when there are other options.
*His name was Capt William Pines and you can Google him, 'Captain Pines of the Hudson' 'worst captain in Sydney...'
