The people who merely ambled around the Capitol Building and were hunted down by the FBI nationwide have faced lengthy legal battles, but why should that be? "Capitol Police confirm disrupting Congress is just a $50 fine".
One of many things that annoy and frustrate me about the Republican Party is the failure of most of our elected GOP senators and representatives to denounce the outrageous miscarriage of justice that has attended the persecution of the J6 protestors (Lindsey Graham actually thought it would be a good idea to shoot them). I will be judging the GOP - and that includes Trump, if he makes it to the White House - on the alacrity with which they move to correct this situation and restore these victims of partisan harassment to their normal lives.
