...get a silly response...

  2. So... okay, this is in response to a new law signed by Governor Hairgel. So why publish the photos at all? Serious question. Simply announce that in accordance with state law, photos of suspects will not be released.

Period. Done. This is a cutesy stunt by people who ought to have better thing to do with their time on the clock.

  3. It could be a passive-aggressive form of protest by the police - otherwise, I agree that there would be no reason to publish any pictures at all.

  4. Why Legos. What happened to the blue dot. How is the expenditure listed. So many questions about this cutsy stunt (as Stephen A Skubinna noted).

  5. Why Legos?
Maybe the cops were trying to highlight how ridiculous the law is.
Or maybe they're just idiots who thought ot was a good idea.
    Since it's CA, i figure 60-40 they're idiots.

  6. I guess I'm more naive. I'd put the over and under at 60-40 the cops are giving the governor the bird.
