Are Biden's people planning on doing that again? "America Should Stay Out of Haiti".
Since the 2010 earthquake, the United States has provided over $5 billion in aid to Haiti. That doesn’t include Biden’s latest batch of $133 million after gangs took over much of the country.
The $100 million in security assistance announced by Biden is on top of the $312 million that we already provided to fund, train and arm Haiti’s police forces over the last decade and a half.
And with over $400 million in backing, Haiti’s police still can’t compete with gang members. But many of the gang members were once the police officers whom we helped to train.
Man, five billion sure doesn't go as far as it used to. I like the idea floated by friends and commenters Rebecca and Veeshir: put Haiti under a regional or UN mandate.
We could make Haiti a homeland for the "Palestinians."
ReplyDeleteI mean, they can't break what's already broken.
Ok, that right there's brilliant.
ReplyDelete"Ok. You want a homeland? No Jewish neighbors? Have we got a deal for you!"
Hamas and the Haitian gangs. Sounds like a match made in heaven.
ReplyDeleteOr hell.
Tell the Clintons to clean up their mess, and don't let them leave until it's done.
ReplyDeleteI believe the Caribbean nations and maybe some African countries should get together and take over that mandate for Haiti. They don't have to listen to woolly-minded ninnies bleating about "civil rights" and "justice". They wouldn't be shy about busting heads and taking names, and that's the only thing that works in Haiti.
ReplyDeleteI should have included Central America in that mandate. It seems they're seeing an influx of Haitian refugees, who are probably headed straight here via our southern border.
ReplyDeleteSay... Isn't Haiti the 17th most holy site in Islam?
